Put the Boo Back in Booty.
In case you were not aware, your bum is pretty amazing. The muscles in your posterior help your body stay upright and enable you to power through workouts, so it is important for you to know how to get the most out of your glutes.
The three players that make up your glutes are the gluteus maximus, gluteus medius and the gluteus minimus. Weak glutes can make other muscles work harder, leading to injury and pain in other areas. The bum/glutes are one of the largest muscle groups in the body. That means that when you engage them, they burn serious calories. So, when your glutes are strong, every activity you do is positively impacted. In pregnancy the gluteus maximus muscles becomes stretched and weakened.
So this week we are going to have some Halloween fun and put the boo back in our booty. Cardio Monday is about is about shuttle runs and 3-minute AMRAP. Parkmum is turning 1 so this week we are going to have a special first birthday workout session.
